Promoting the development, proper design, use, and maintenance of landscape
equipment.
(b)
Promoting water and soil conservation, to increase yields, and to improve
the quality of crops/landscape through the economic use of landscape practices.
(c)
Collecting and disseminating information regarding landscape to allied
industries, organizations, agencies, and the public.
(d)
Promoting a spirit of cooperation among those that are concerned and those
that should be concerned with landscape.
(e)
Educating members on technical matters, business practices, and legal issues,
thereby elevating the quality of publicly delivered goods and services
and reducing market-place risk to consumers.
(f)
The Association's dedication and resolve to encourage a cooperative relationship
among all segments of the “green” industry, for the ultimate benefit of
all concerned.
(g)
Developing for the landscape industry, a set of canons of ethics; design
and installation standards, and provide within the Association, a mechanism
for encouraging compliance.
(h)
Working with city, county, and state officials and regulatory agencies
in an effort to promote professionalism in the landscape industry.
